Remnants of Breakfast
Last week yardsale feaver hit me so when Saturday came I had big plans for the family. First stop was a community flea market where I scored this lovely single serving Bodum french press for $1. I also got some of those great wooden blocks with letters, numbers, and simple pictures on them for Keith. Just kidding, they're for Elijah.
Next stop was the yard sale of a lifetime (I almost wrote Life sale of a Yardtime there, which, I think, is fair) where everything was a quarter. I scored a gorgeous vintage wrap jacket (that actually had a quarter in the pocket so... free!), a paper shredder, various mason jars and other glass containers, and an old metal milk crate that reminds me of how I hope my house will someday look (the decor, at least). Oh yes, and two brownies.

NICE... some great finds! We had a friend in Houston who was one of those hardcore 5 a.m. yard salers, and it's fun to see all the great stuff people get rid of!
Looking forward to seeing you guys in May, even if it meant shoving my foot many distances down my mouth. Miss you!
I love markets too! I feel good about good finds! Kramar
Peter - I don't like your feet anywhere else but down your mouth. Can't wait to see you guys either!!
Tina - I loved the markets and 2nd hand shops in Gothenburg... pretty much all the stuff in our apartment came from them. When I took classes at Folkuni, I would spend my fika time at Myrorna, trying to stock our kitchen. :-)
