Yesterday was a particularly difficult day for Elijah as he's about to receive a few more teeth. We spent most of the day cuddled together and nursing. We were about to go out to our last Baby Rhythmic class, but at the last minute I decided it wasn't worth the breakdown it was causing, especially with the temperature in the negatives (F) / teens (C). Right now it's -11C by the way, which is freaking cold. All this to say, I was particularly thankful for my husband, who not only brought home Thai food for dinner, but also came home instead of of staying straight through until late to finish his last experiment, which meant that he then had to go back out into the freezing temps for one more round-trip at 9pm. Gosh, I really hate experiments.
Other reasons I'm so thankful for Keith: He's pretty much single-handedly navigated the mortgage process (stressful) and our mortgage broker (super-stressful). He's arranged the crate shipping of our belongings from here to there. He desires to be a Navy SEAL, not so much literally (thank goodness) but in spirit. He's in love with Elijah and is such an awesome dad; I love watching them in action together. He is so generous. I could go on and on but there's a baby that needs me; I'll end by saying I'm thankful he's so good-looking.
