friends... I like 'em

In the spirit of Thanksgiving and Advent - and wanting to stave off the impending stress of moving - I thought I'd do a little gratituding here on ye ol' blog this week.  Feel free to join in in the comments or link to your own blog.

I am thankful for friends that travel ten hours (each way) to celebrate a shared holiday.  I am thankful for friends with wheels that put forth endless offers of transport and help.  I am thankful for friends that throw deliciously warm and deliciously delicious fikas to celebrate Advent.  I am thankful for friends that send letters in the mail.  I am thankful for friends that are a constant source if encouragement and support.  I am thankful for friends with whom to share confidantly (and who appreciate my word inventions).  I am thankful for friends that have gone first (marriage, kids, living abroad, buying a house, etc cetera and ad naseum) and share their knowledge.  I am thankful for friends that love my baby.  I am thankful for friends that laugh at my jokes.  I am thankful for friends that inspire me, in action and in thought.  I am thankful for friends that share their talents with me.

Yay for Gratitude.
One shelf at a time, one bag at a time. Lots of te and kaffe, and definitely good tunes to keep you and E company while you peck away at the task at hand...

Enjoy the nostalgia and see your friends a bazillion times before leaving. Fika everyday. Twice, even.

Will you get a dose of Christmas Market before coming back? I always loved that about Scandinavia... loved the way they do Xmas.

xo!

Oh yes, LOTS of kaffe these days! :-) It's a little embarrassing. Yes, we hit up one Christmas market last weekend, and hopefully we'll see the other one this weekend or next... They're always filled with socks for some reason. Can't wait to see you!
